Today we had a very special visitor, Charlie Graham. Not only is Charlie a published children’s author he is also the grandad of Caoimhe in our class. Charlie came into our class today to give us a reading of his book, The giraffe with the chocolate bellybutton, which he has dedicated to his granddaughter. The children absolutely loved the story and were definitely entertained by Charlie. As a very special treat they all received their very own copy of the book to keep forever. We are very grateful to Charlie and it will certainly be a day that none of the children will ever forget.
