This morning Chris Quinn, the NI Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY), and CCEA hosted a live chat for primary teachers and pupils to learn more about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The school council took part in the chat and they all learnt a lot about the rights of children. The children will now go back to their classes and give a presentation on what they learnt. The NICCY and the Centre for Children's Rights at Queen's University have excellent websites where further information can be found.
